An Arquette Opportunity (For Charity!)

For the past few months, listeners of Coaster have been taking part in The David Arquette Project.

If the project is successful, well-known actor and theme park fan David Arquette will find out about the show and agree to record the opening introduction.

How great would it be to hear him say...

"This is David Arquette and it's time for the original theme park podcast! This is!"

The problem is, there's no easy way for any of us to get in touch with him.....

Until now!

There is an online auction going on right now that benefits an English charity called Kids Company. Their aim is to provide practical, emotional and educational support to vulnerable inner-city children and young people.

There are many items up for auction that have celebrity involvement. For instance, the actor who plays Mr. Bean has offered to drive a winning bidder to work in his Rolls Royce. Not bad!

But the item that would interest fans of The David Arquette Project is a 15-minute Skype chat with David and his wife Courteney Cox. (

Yes, that's correct. It's a chance for someone to talk directly with David Arquette!

So, we're not asking anyone to bid on the auction... but we are putting it out there... just in case.
