A awesome trip back. One thing I might suggest, if you guy's haven't out grown them. The great animation shows during the 80's from Saturday Morning and After School. Heck two of things you talk about had cartoon shows. Teen Wolf the animated series and Camp Candy. Remember those shows?
Anyway if you guy's do another may I suggest movies made today that try to evoke the 80's genre. Movies like 2011 "Drive" a movie set in today's time, but film in a style of the 80's movies. How about "Superbad" another one that the filmmakers try to make it feel like an 80's film right down to logo's. Heck Sam Raimi "Drag me to Hell", was made as if it was a 80's movie, ranter then using the style of modern times. There's Topher Grace "Take me Home Tonight" is another one made to be set in the 80's. So yeah, there's a lot. I want to added something to your Goonies talk. Paul Dini podcast "Radio Rashy" talk about a Goonies animated series that almost got off the ground. It was made by the animators of Tiny Toons, Animaniacs, Batman, etc, Spike Brandt and Tony Cervone. It's ep. 93, and they go into details how they got the exact likeness of the actors to the OK of Richard Donner. It's amazing the ideas they came up for a Goonies show.
