Peter says that although he supports this effort, he would have much preferred "The Drew Barrymore Project."
Peter is at Luna Park in Melbourne, Australia – home of the oldest continually operating wooden roller coaster in the world.
He says it’s probably also the slowest, but it’s also probably the scariest as you never know if the train will make it back to the station!!!
Thanks Peter!

CoasterRadio.com #410 - Halloween
EB & Mike celebrate "All Hallows Eve" by talking about some of the best Halloween events across the US.
They also play some audio from inside the "scare zones." You'll think the chainsaw wielding maniacs are right behind you!
The guys also talk about the storylines behind some of the more creative haunts and how local urban legends make for the best attractions.
They'll also reveal your ideas for theme park attractions based on the best horror films ever.
Plus, EB and Mike go "Off Topic" to talk about EB's Mystery Novel and Mike's puzzlement over a "Nostradamus Halloween Scam" used to pick up college girls.

CoasterRadio.com #409
We're just a about a week away from Halloween!
EB and Mike talk about your ideas for theme park attractions that could easily be given a "Halloween Makeover".
Since we're on the topic of Halloween themed rides, a Coaster Radio listener calls in with an in-depth review of Space Mountain: Ghost Galaxy at Disneyland.
The guys also talk about how Cedar Point's Demon Drop is headed to Knott's Berry Farm in California. Can a ride from the 1980's be a hit? Or will Knott's need to have a few tricks up their sleeves to make it all work. EB and Mike have some ideas for them.
Plus, there's word out of Florida that a costumed family was denied entry to Busch Gardens Tampa. Was it fair? Or was the park going to far?
The guys also go "Off Topic" to discuss Ghost Hunting and the saga of the "Balloon Boy."
Plus, there are several off-track tangents about Fonzie, the movie Scream and of course... The David Arquette Project!

Your Ideal Haunted Theme Park Attraction
Halloween is almost upon us and it's a great time for spooky or errie attractions.
Theme park rides like the Tower of Terror at Disney's Hollywood Studios are perfectly suited for this time of year.
But some parks are taking normal attractions and giving them a Halloween overlay.
For instance, Disney has turned Space Mountain at Magic Kingdom into Ghost Galaxy, complete with a new soundtrack and spooky new effects.
On our last show, we asked you to put on your Imagineering hat and come up with a Halloween theme for an attraction or ride that already exists.
It could be anything, but make sure to describe it in full and make sure it's fun too!
Give it your best shot and we'll talk about it on this week''s show.
You can call our voicemail line at 206-339-3360, e-mail us your idea or let us know in this forum topic!

Jared is at Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit at Universal Orlando
Jared is a resourceful person!
He forgot to print out the Arquette Arithmetic picture when he went to Universal Studios Florida. So, he pulled out his cell phone and got the image anyway!
Nice thinking Jared! Welcome to the David Arquette Project!

Patrick is at Scarowinds
This photo isn't exactly in focus, but it must be because the photographer was shaking with fear.
But it doesn't take away from the fact that Patrick and some weird skull-faced dude are now part of The David Arquette Project!

Goodbye Mr. Six, Hello Balloon Boy
Last year, I wrote a blog article about celebrities that would be good spokespeople for the different theme parks.
Tonight I think we saw the birth of a media celebrity who could take over for Mr. Six.
I think Six Flags needs to sign "Balloon Boy" to an endorsement contact ASAP. He'd be a excellent pitchman.
I saw this kid on CNN and he's brilliant! I especially like where he admits that his family "did this for the show." NICE! (The parents' reaction is friggin' priceless.)
Six Flags should consider it!
They could have a children's play area called "Balloon Boy's Bounce House."
Or how about "Balloon Boy's Bumper Cars?"
How about a roller coaster called "The Balloon Boy Bobsleds?"
If Six Flags wants to pass, perhaps Disney can put his face on the "Character's in Flight" hot air balloon at Downtown Disney! They could just re-theme it to a cheesy mylar UFO balloon and they're in business!
Or perhaps we could forget about The David Arquette Project and focus on getting Balloon Boy on the show.
His dad would probably like the publicity.

From Busboy to President
So imagine it's 1971, and you're working as a busboy at the Contemporary Resort at Walt Disney World.
What if you could see in to the future... all the way to 2009.
What if you found out that in 38 years, you'd be president of the Disneyland Resort.
Well, George Kalogridis probably didn't know it back then, but that's exactly what he was destined to become.
Today it was announced that the 38-year Disney veteran and former Disneyland executive is replacing Ed Grier, who retired last week.
It's interesting to see the Disney fanboy (and girl) reaction to this hire.
Some are nervous because of Kalogridis' involvement with the Millenium Celebration at Walt Disney World. (Remember the giant wand at EPCOT?) Other are pointing to not so popular moves at Disneyland Paris while he was at the helm there. Others, thankfully, are taking a wait and see attitude.
I never understood people's passion for Disneyland until I visited the place myself. It truly is a special place, even more so than it's sister property in Florida. So I can see where people get antsy over possible changes to their favorite place.
But for now, I like the idea that a busboy can become a president.
It gives us all something to shoot for, doesn't it?

The Price Is Right!
This post has nothing to do with theme parks, but I thought you might get a kick out of it.
Last July, I took a detour off my theme park tour of Southern California and went to a taping of The Price is Right.
I know some people who know the producers, so they got me a great seat in the 2nd row, right behind where the contestants bid on the prizes. That meant I got a lot of face time on TV.
You can see me in that picture, craning my neck so that my face could be seen between the two male contestants.
Anyway, if you're in the mood, you can watch the show HERE.
By the way, if you followed us on Twitter or on Facebook, you would have heard about this DAYS AGO! Sign up now!
